The Differences between the following connecting words连接词, these words both give a reason for something. 🤦🏻‍♂️ UH! English grammar always saves my mind from being occupied with nothing, How can I not love it?
I don't learn grammar on perpose, these things were I learned accidentally, you know, when I met them too many times. （👈🏼Is this sentence correct?)

一、"Because因为，由于" & "as a result 因此，结果" are conjunctions连词，接从句we use them to link 句子SENTENCES🍔(subject+verb)

🌰e.g.
Because 🐥it's cold outside,I am working from home today.
As a result,🐥 Many animals and plants are dying.

二、Due to/because of/owing to/as a result of由于/thanks to多亏/ on account of —are 复合介词 PREPOSITIONS，use them before to connect 接短语PHRASES🥪----名词nouns，动名词gerunds( verb+ING) ，代词pronouns etc.

三、As far as I know , "due to" "owning to" & on account of" are more formal than "because of", and we use them more in written English.

Hey, don't leave on account of 🐣me.
Irene even lost 20 pounds due to stress.🌚
The service is poor owing to 🐣the shortage of staff.

四、Sometimes,we use due to before a verb,not a verb+ing form,that’s because it works as a part of predicative or adverb in those phrases,not a preposition.
”Be due to do sth” is a fixed phrase.
按理/预定/按计划/承诺-要做的事，是个固定短语。
e.g.
When is the building work due to start?
He is due to speak this evening.

in addition：到期日due date is a noun refer to the date something is expected: the date that something such as the payment of a bill ,a work has to be done , or the birth of a baby is expected to occur.
Sometimes due date has a meaning of deadline.
