When Johnny Depp auditioned for the role, he decided to dress up like Keith Richards. Who is Keith Richards? He is a member of the Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger is also a member of the band), a band that was very popular in the 60s. They did songs such as “Satisfaction” and “Paint it Black”. They also had a unique fashion style…..they dressed up like pirates, because why not.
