When I was in Grade Ten, there were two foreigner teachers, Victor and Frank, a black man and a white man, they taught us English in turn, they are different, properly speaking, their Teaching style was completely opposite.

Victor is from South Afica, graduated from the University of Harvard. He chose to be an English teacher in China during his gap year. I realised I was not that kind of person who judged people by Appearance or Skin color after I met Victor. He is not pure black, a little brown, with angular facial features, actually, kind of handsome. He led the reading, organized new words' dictation, questioned to test us to make sure we had already mastered what we need to know.

He shared stories of himself, showed us dollars and pictures to let us know more about his country. He is pretty good, whatever he had done can make you feel that he was really a great teacher, he had love for us. Teaching style similar to our mainland teacher adjusted to our taste very well. Moreover, his Chinese was nice.

Frank is from America, he is, you know the name fits. he was a little fat. We enjoyed his classes. Humorous teaching style won the favor of the students, The first English song I learnt is BIG BIG WORLD, he taught us. I remembered clearly, after we learnt from him three times, he invited students to perform, no one raised hands. At that time, I was upset, and a little shy, he found me, encouraged me to have a try. Later I got my courage to sing a short part of the song, the students responded with warm applause, which made me more confident, which was also very impirtant in my growing up. On a weekend, My older sister and I went shopping, we met Victor, you know, Unpreparedly, we both went conversations just like what we learnt in textbook. " How are you? fine, thank you, and you? I am good, bye. bye" haha, a little excited, that was the first time I talked to a foreigner face to face without preparation. His accent is heavy, however we still love him, a typical American.

I benefited a lot from both of them from then on, I deeply knew. I like challenges，I enjoy the status when my heart beat faster when facing challenges, which is really a wonderful experience.
