这期来说说古英语时期（盎格鲁-撒克逊时期）的主要文学作品。这一时期所保留下来的作品 主要是以盎格鲁-撒克逊 世俗和宗教诗词 为主。他们的战歌和古代传说都是从 游吟诗人👱🏻的记忆中 一代一代传说下来的，游吟诗人为首领和勇士们歌唱古时的英雄事迹。
