The United Nations strongly condemned North Korea's nuclear test on Wednesday, pledging to swiftly pursue new sanctions against the nation. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon called the test "profoundly destablizing for regional security."

The mother of a 2-year-old, dubbed 'Baby Doe' after her body washed ashore in Boston, has pleaded not guilty to an accessary charge connected to the toddler's death. Rachelle Bond was arrainged on charges she helped her boyfriend concealed the body of her daughter, Bella.
