第一期：
Protect the World, Protect Our Home

In the last several decades,our earth has been extremely polluted,such as haze and El Nino.In recent years,the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent.In the past,my hometown used to be a beautiful place.It was surrounded by plenty of trees and covered with green grass everywhere.Later,some people destroyed many trees to turn for its into farmland and a lot of water and soil was carried away down the hills.Thus,much farmland has become a waste land.What worst,this waste land is increasing and our village is suffering from storms.All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event.
As a student,I build the sense of frugality in my daily life.When I go out,I firstly choose the public transport to go to school.While the weather is fine,I go to school on foot or by bike.Moreover,I always use shopping basket instead of plastic bags when I go shopping.Both sides of the paper can be used if it is possible.After school,I bear the consciousness of environment protection in mind.In order to protect the forest, I often refuse to use the paper cups and disposable chopsticks consciously.
In a word,everyone should do something that is useful to protect the environment,whether it is big or small.Even the daily activity can make a real difference to our earth.The most important thing is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment.

第二期：
Similar Fireworks, Different New Years

January 1st is believed as New Year's Day.My parents didn't go to work during that time.My family prepared for New Year's Day from late December.First I spent a few times cleaning my houses completely.Then put up some new paintings from November to be sent in January.The New Year's meal was also prepared from the end of December.During New Year's Day,my family did not cook and relaxed at home. After dinner, we watched New Year TV programs.
At the Spring Festival, I was so excited that I got up very early in the morning. Nonetheless my mother was earlier than me, and she had gotten the breakfast ready. Dumplings, that's my favourite. After the wonderful breakfast, I left home with my parents to visit our relatives. On the way, I said "Happy New Year" to everyone that I met and they all said that back to me.Everyone was happy and friendly. In my relatives' house, they prepared many sweets and snacks for guests.They were all very delicious.The most exciting thing was that I got red envelopes with money inside from my relatives. I had a fine day in my relatives' family.At the end of the day,the families including mine set off long strings of small firecrackers and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the most important day of the new year, almost everyone was dressed in his or her best. 
As for me,I like to set off firecrackers by myself.Dumplings are the most traditional food to eat at the Spring Festival.I like the festival very much,because I can have delicious food that I had never seen and wear new costume.I can also get some money from my parents and relatives.This money is given to teenagers for good luck. Family put up New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.
In China,the Spring Festival is the most important festival.We were giving a long holiday to get together.Most of the families will have a big family get-together.The whole family will have a big meal on the eve of the Spring Festival.So my family pays more attention to celebrate the Spring Festival than New Year' day.

第三期：
An Unforgettable Trip

I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. What's more, it refreshes me.I think most person like traveling because they can feel the beauty of the nature and breathe the fresh air at the same time.What's more they can make friends.
During the Spring Festival,I went to Jiuzhaigou with my brother and his close friends.My brother was very daring and he led us to Huanglong Mountain.
It was a good trip at the beginning,nonetheless an unexpected thing happened on the half way. One of my brother's friends suddenly felt a terrify pain in his stomach and he couldn't move any further. Nobody knew what to do. One girl tried to call her mum with her movable phone,however there was no signal in the mountain area. Luckily we brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him rest in it. He took some medicine. Then he drank some water, and ate some food. After a while, he felt much better and we walked on.
We were standing at the top of the Mountian.Naturally we saw a wonderful scenery.The water was running down the mountain,on the hillside,there was about hundreds of water pools.In the sunshine,the waters in the pools twinkled,just like the twinkling stars in the sky.Really what a beautiful scene I have ever seen.It was really an unforgettable trip I have had.
Traveling is a very good mean of broadening person's perspective.It makes me come into contact with different cultures,meets people of different colors and goes through peculiar rites and ceremonies.Travelling much,I will not only enrich my knowledge and experiences,but also be conscious of the vastness of nature.
Traveling may also relieve me of boredom and gloom.It brings me enjoyment and attraction,still gives me a pleasant experience,which will disperse my boredom and make me forget whatever annoys me.Traveling broadens my mind and leaves me few good memories.

第四期：
My Plan for New Term

The new semester is coming again. Admitted to good schools,I should have a study plan to improve myself to lay a solid foundation for confronted with new change and challenges.
In this term,I did well in some subjects.Happily, my math teacher said I was hard-working.In the new semester I hope I will get better results.There's no doubt that I make a decision to finish my homework more carefully than before.To achieve my goals,I will do a lot of reading to widen the range of my knowledge,and try to combine theory to practice.
I was very nervous when I saw my English report.It was discouraging.My problem is that the textbook is difficult for me to some extent.There are so many words and expressions to remember.Perhaps I am good at analysing instead of remembering. I ought to keep my advantage in this and attach great importance to remembering.I will never waste my time again,as the proverb goes :"Never leave that until tomorrow, which you can do today." I will do it as good as Words of Franklin.
Every family has a lot of housework. I think it's our duty to help our parents do some housework.In the new term,I am going to help my parents wash the dishes, clean the room and make the bed.Sometime,I'm going to do some shopping and water the flowers every week. I will learn how to cook delicious dishes,too.I think I've learned how to care for myself and my family by doing housework.
