《Royals》是新西兰女歌手Lorde演唱的一首流行歌曲，歌曲的封面设计由马里奥·雨果负责，歌词由Lorde个人编写，音乐由乔尔·利特尔制作 。该歌曲作为推广其所属专辑的首张单曲，于2013年3月8日通过共和国唱片公司发布，收录在Lorde于2013年9月27日发行的首张录音室专辑《Pure Heroine》

Lorde（原名：Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor），1996年11月7日出生于新西兰奥克兰德文波特，新西兰创作型女歌手。

2014年初，Lorde首次登上美国第56届格莱美奖舞台，并演唱歌曲《Royals》，凭借该曲获得”年度最佳歌曲”奖 与”最佳流行歌手“奖 ；同年2月19日，获得第34届全英音乐奖“最佳国际女艺人”奖 ；4月9日，2014年美国公告牌音乐奖提名揭晓，Lorde凭借专辑《Pure Heroine》与歌曲《Royals》入围“最佳Hot 100单曲榜艺人”，“最佳下载单曲艺人”，“最佳点播单曲艺人”，“最佳摇滚艺人”，“最佳摇滚专辑”，“最佳Hot 100单曲”，“最佳下载单曲”和“最佳摇滚单曲”等在内的十二项提名，成为了本届公告牌音乐奖中成绩最优异的音乐人 ；5月19日，2014年美国公告牌音乐奖揭晓揭晓，Lorde获得“最佳新人”与“最佳摇滚歌曲”两个奖项 ；8月，为电影《饥饿游戏3：嘲笑鸟(上)》献唱主题曲。

Lorde在接受采访时表示，自己在创作歌曲之前，就想写一首与流行艺术家们的奢华生活有关的歌曲，直到她看到1976年7月版的《国家地理》杂志中，看到了堪萨斯城皇家队球员乔治·布雷特的衬衫印有他球队的名字“Royals”后，便打算将这个单词作为歌名。她还说，因为自己是一个大恋物癖者，所以就想要将这个单词作为歌曲的名字，尽管“Royals”只是一个很简单的词，但在她看来这个单词真的很酷。
