Uber's application for a new operating license in London was rejected.

The Regulator Transport for London said Uber is "not fit and proper to hold a private hire operator license"
伦敦交通局监管者称Uber“并不适合持有私人雇用运营执照”

According to them, their goal is to ensure the safety of passengers and said that Uber's approach and conduct showed "a lack of corporate responsibility in relation to a number of issues which have potential public safety and security implications.”

Some of those responsibilities that Uber is lacking are its approach to reporting serious criminal offences and its approach to how medical certificates are obtained.

Uber has 21 days to appeal the ruling and can continue serving riders during that time.
